And I'm really starting over.

First, my little brother grows up, joins the Army, and disappears into the emptiness of Oklahoma. This causes me to move into a cheaper place to live, this little apartment that I'm writing this from, and start the process of sorting through all the stuff from my previous life that won't fit.

Then, my company decides that I'm too expensive to keep, and, because they want to make this fiscal year's numbers look really, really spectacular, they sever me as well as many of their other highly paid and skilled employees.

So, here I am, sitting in my new apartment, looking for a new job, living alone for the first time.

Starting over.

The only thing that's missing is my lady, by my side, building our new life together. But I know I'll have that very soon.
